Chantal Daniels grew up helping on the Kinglake family farm. She practiced mountain-biking in the bush and then raced at national level. After a science degree, she travelled the world including hiking solo in the Siberian desert. Chantal met Sam snowboarding in the Alps.
Sam Lowe spent 15 years snowboarding and building a bar business in the French Alps, Café Snesko. It was voted the best Apres-Ski bar in the world outside Austria. Sam also has a Masters in Medieval History and is writing a novel about life in a monastery.
