Kinglake was always Chantal Daniel's playground. She grew up helping on the Kinglake family farm and mountain-biking in the bush. She met Sam on a six-year travelling trip that including hiking solo in the Mongolia desert. Chantal also has a background in applied science.
Sam Lowe has worked with alcohol since his first shift in an English pub, long before he was old enough to drink. More recently he helped Cafe Snesko become one of the most famous Apres-Ski bars in the world.
