We have released two small batches so far of Red gum aged single malt. Some Australian distilleries have experimented with ageing their whisky full-term in this native timber. Although the result is definitely unique, we feel it's not a re-buy.

We believe all single-malt needs at least the minimum term in oak and so we only finish for 4-6 months in Red gum. This adds incredible rich depth of flavour and colour without creating a novelty product.

We're just trying to decide whether to add this as a core product in the future. One issue is the difficulty of sourcing good quality red gum barrels.
